Constance "Connie" Norman, 83, of Sun City, AZ and formally of Virginia, MN died peacefully on November 14, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family.Connie was born in Keewatin, MN to Tony and Francis (Bjorklund) Alleva on November 26, 1934. She was a 1952 graduate of St. Paul Humboldt High School. In 1953, while attending Junior College in Virginia, MN, Connie met the love of her life Myron Norman Jr of Virginia, MN. They were married in January 7, 1954 in Bremerton, WA and celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in 2018.Connie will be remembered for her devotion to her husband and unwavering commitment to her family. She was a loyal friend, a respected businessperson and the greatest Mom any child could ever have. She had a great perspective on life and a wonderful sense of humor. All of her 6 children have the greatest respect for their Mom's commitment to her family. She was and still is the rock and glue that held the family in place. In 1955, after Myron was honorably discharged from the Marines, Connie and Myron enjoyed an incredible life journey together, which included raising a family of six children and owning several successful businesses. Not only was Connie a great business mind but was the best "stay at home" Mom anyone could ask for.Connie and Myron embarked on a business career together that lasted from 1964 until 2004. After raising their family and traveling the world together, Myron and Connie retired to Sun City, AZ in 1989 where they also became successful owners of Chum's Lounge. Connie and Myron made a great team and were very successful at whatever they did. Connie was very involved in every business they owned.Connie is survived by her 6 children, Michael (Susan Conrad) Norman of Surprise, AZ, Mary (Richard) Jackson of Sun City, AZ, Susie (Mike) Custard of Mesa, AZ, Katherine (Kerry) Zuehlsdorff of Bloomington, MN, Jim Norman of Peoria, AZ and David (Anne-Marie) Norman of Peoria, AZ and 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers Anthony (Sue) Alleva of St. Paul, MN, Tom (Darlene) Alleva of St. Paul, MN, Peter Alleva of Colorado Springs, CO.Preceding Connie in death were her parents Tony and Francis Alleva, devoted and loving husband of 64 years Myron Norman Jr and sister Doris (Alleva) Rieger of Roseville, MN.A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on November 21, 2018, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services located at 11211 W.
