Concrete bank coming down in Sun City

Work continues on Viewpoint Lake

Crews continue to work on the concrete demolition at Viewpoint Lake.

An lake update meeting is scheduled 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Fairway Center, 10600 W. Peoria Ave.

Two tractors were working Jan. 24 where the lake meets Cameo Drive, where a number of people lined the fencing to watch. Removing the concrete bank comes as dirt and sediment continue to be piled up in the lake bottom in preparation for hauling it away.
