Concessions made to make way for drive-thru restaurant in Peoria

The saga of a fast food drive-thru restaurant in Peoria has come to a close.

The City Council approved a rezoning case to allow for a drive-thru restaurant within the Thunderbird Estates West planned-area development near Thunderbird Road and 75th Avenue.

Some residents had opposed the case because it initially called for a 24-hour drive-thru located close to a neighborhood.
