I have an idea for an addition to your weekly newspapers that would make it more enjoyable and would make more people read it.
In my neighborhood magazine, they always feature someone who has done something amazing or helpful to our community.
Since featuring one singular person may be a little difficult, maybe a small business that is doing well during this pandemic or a high school team that recently rose to the top and won a state competition.

Last year, my sister and her class at school were featured because they actually wrote a book together. In the Veterans Day newspaper, one of our good family friend’s swim team was featured because they one the regional swimming meet. And just a couple of months ago, you featured my dance studio and featured them and their story, even though they were struggling to pay the bills.
I loved how their efforts were recognized, and I would love for it to happen again. Even though these people and small businesses may not make the front page, I would love for you to feature someone or something in a small section inside the paper.
Please consider this email and thank you for continuing to print the newspaper even through hard times.
