I have been organizing in our community my entire adult life, working alongside people who, like me, believe our families deserve dignity, opportunity and health.
At the heart of that is access to quality, comprehensive health care no matter your ability to pay. For many families, especially those from low-income and Latino backgrounds, Valleywise Health has been a lifeline, providing affordable health care, behavioral health services and emergency care when it’s needed most.
We know the work toward true health equity isn’t finished. However, investing in our public health system is one of the most effective ways we can close the gaps and address the historic disparities our communities face. That’s why I’m voting yes on Proposition 409 and asking you to join me.
Prop 409 will ensure Valleywise can keep up with the growing demand for behavioral health and emergency services. By voting yes, we are investing in the long-term health and well-being of our families, our neighborhoods and all of Maricopa County.
