The Town of Queen Creek has launched TEXT QC, an interactive text-based customer service platform to enhance resident and business engagement.
From reporting potholes and graffiti to finding answers to commonly asked questions, text “hello” to 844-977-2291 to get started. The service also offers a web-based platform, available at QueenCreek.org/TextQC.
“This is a fantastic new program that offers an additional communication resource for the community in a format that is familiar and easy,” Queen Creek Mayor Gaily Barney said in the release. “Queen Creek is fortunate to have such engaged residents and TEXT QC makes is easier to connect with the Town. Providing this technology for the community is more important than ever.”
After texting “hello” to 844-977-2291, individuals can type in their question or request, and the interactive conversation will begin. As a repeat user, the conversation just picks up where it last left off and there is no need to say “hello” again. The free service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Reported issues are acknowledged immediately and automatically routed to the appropriate Town department for resolution. Once the Town fixes the reported issue, TEXT QC follows up to let the individual know their query has been resolved, the release states.
For questions, artificial intelligence scans the town’s website for an appropriate response and provides the individual with relevant information. If the AI is unable to find the applicable information, TEXT QC will ask the individual to send a message with their request, which will be routed to the appropriate department.
“TEXT QC integrates two data platforms, Citibot and See, Click, Fix to provide a seamless experience for our residents,” Marnie Schubert, the town's communications, marketing and recreation director, said in the release. “Providing innovative, state-of-the-art solutions that make it easy for the community to get the information they need helps residents stay informed and involved. TEXT QC will not only provide an additional tool for Queen Creek to engage, it also provides enhanced metrics for Town staff to get in front of any emerging issues or enhance communication on hot topics with residents.”
To connect, text “hello” to 844-977-2291 or go to QueenCreek.org/TextQC. For more information about the town go to QueenCreek.org or follow the town on Facebook @QueenCreek or Twitter @TownofQC.
