Committee, guest attendance on exchange agenda
Posted
By Charlene Bisson
Revisions to Recreation Centers of Sun City policies governing committees and guest attandance will be on the next board agenda and subject to possible discussion at the next member/director exchange meeting.
Residents will have their first opportunity to comment on proposed RCSC policy changes during a member/director exchange at Lakeview Recreation Center.
The exchange is scheduled 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13 in the upper leval social halls at Lakeview Recreation Center, 10262 W. Thunderbird Blvd. The exchange meetings are an opportunity for residents to provide input to the RCSC board and receive feedback.
Agenda items are not voted upon at exchange meetings. Rather, they are presented to allow residents to know what is coming up for a vote in the regular board meeting, normally the last Thursday of each month. Exchange meeting attendees are not limited to commenting on agenda items, but can talk about any subject they choose.
The motion on committees proposes to add language clarifying that the Clubs Organization Committee has limited powers while other committees are strictly advisory to the board. The motion on guest attandance proposes to make wording change that removes the dollar amount for guest fees and replaces it with “the daily guest fee.”
