Coming out of COVID, Glendale ready for busy summer

Unlike 2020, lots to do in as the season opens

Things changed in a year.

This time in 2020, quarantining became a household plan. No one was quite sure how the COVID-19 pandemic would play out in the future, and precautions dictated most recreational activities cease until further notice.

“It’s amazing how much one person can actually help to soothe you. A patient’s morale can be lifted an incredible amount just by having a loved one there to help you take on whatever it may be that you have to get through,” Glendale resident Jacob Jordan told Independent Newsmedia a year ago in June. Mr. Jordan was facing medical issues, and spoke of the isolation experience many were facing.
