Colorado River water flows to Queen Creek

Queen Creek is now receiving water transferred from the Colorado River, as it continues to diversify it water portfolio.

The water transfer started 8 a.m. today at Desert Mountain Park with Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley and some council members on hand. The water is being delivered through the Central Arizona Project canal, which runs along the town’s eastern border.
