Coffey: Overwhelming opposition to overlay permit in Sun City
I am entirely against any exceptions to the existing age overlays (“Overlay decision in limbo,” Sun City Independent, Dec. 7, 2022) as laid out in the Sun City CC&Rs.
At the beginning of this request, the poll was 1,488 emails against passage and four (count ‘em -1,2,3,4) in support of passage. Try as I may, I simply cannot see where there is any reason to delay the rejection of this request. The math is simple enough.
We, the residents, do not want this exception to be granted.
