ClipDart brings haircare, mental health solace to Maricopa County seniors

When you look good, you feel good, ClipDart founder and CEO Kyle Parker says, a mentality that will soon be of service to 13 senior centers around the Valley.

ClipDart is the recipient of a Maricopa County grant that will be used to employ barbers and hairstylists to provide free monthly haircuts to seniors. The entrepreneur and former professional basketball player has received a $100,000 grant from Maricopa County Department of Public Health to help improve the quality of life including assuaging mental health needs in vulnerable communities.

The “Supporting Maricopa County’s Aging and Older Adults Population” grant will be used for program services from June 2023 to May 2024 to benefit underrepresented, underserved communities and organizations partnering and participating with Parker’s endeavor.
