Clarence Roberts, 77Sun City resident Clarence T. Roberts died Jan. 14 at his home after a long illness.Mr. Roberts was born June 1, 1930 in Spooner, Wis., the son of Ezra Roberts and Melinda (Bedford) Roberts. He met Suzy Davis in Libertyville, Ill., in 1954 and married her in 1955. Their marriage was blessed with four children, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Their first 25 years were spent in Kenosha, Wis., the next 15 years in Rice Lake, Wis., and the last eight in Sun City.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Laurence Roberts; and two sisters, Florence (Otto) Sommerfeldt and Isabelle (Bill) Gillis.He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Deborah (Jon) Strecker and Penny Roberts; two sons, William (Andrea) Roberts and Joseph (Rita) Roberts; a sister, Betty (Porky) McQuade of Spooner, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.Mr. Roberts is to be cremated and his ashes interned in the Veteran's Cemetery in Spooner March 21 with the Military Honor Guard attending.endobit>Edla Leavitt, 94Sun City resident Edla Gromer Leavitt died Jan. 14, 2008.A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 N. 99th Ave.Ms. Leavitt is survived by two sons, Terry Gromer, Jr., and Dr. Rex Gromer; a brother, Charles Jurgensen; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren,
