Scottsdale’s general fund revenues were up while expenditures came in below budget for the third quarter of the fiscal year, according to city treasurer Sonia Andrews.
General fund revenues were 7% higher than budget while expenditures were down 3% from budget, Andrews told the city council during its May 14 meeting.
The main reasons for the increased revenue were unexpected increases in construction sale tax, one-time development fees and interest earnings that were higher than expected, Andrews told the council.
