All involved parties are supporting an outside audit of the multiyear agreement between Experience Scottsdale and the city for destination marketing efforts, officials say.
On May 11, the Scottsdale City Council supported pursuing a procurement contract less than $25,000 to find a nationally recognized third party that will evaluate the agreement between the city and its destination marketing firm, Experience Scottsdale.
Benefits of the assessment, city officials say, is to evaluate the city’s current contract, which is set to end next summer; provide objective analysis of the city’s investment; and make recommendations and potential guidelines.
