Six open houses are planned for review of draft amendments to the Old Town Scottsdale Character Area Plan.
City staff members have formed the amendments for the plan and zoning ordinance based on information received from the public, planning commission and city council, according to a release.
The Scottsdale City Council adopted the existing Old Town Scottsdale Character Area Plan in 2018.
It serves as the long-range plan that guides growth and development in downtown Scottsdale "and incorporates community goals, policies and an implementation program specific to this area of the community," according to the city.
Open houses are set for Tuesday, Jan. 10, and Thursday, Jan. 12. For more: Get details and register.
"The city will offer additional participation opportunities as we progress through the public input and hearing processes," officials said in the release.
