City of Scottsdale poised to appeal wrongful termination court ruling

The City of Scottsdale is expected to appeal a Maricopa County Superior Court jury’s ruling against the city in the wrongful termination case filed by former city prosecutor Shawn Fuller.

The approval to move forward with the appeal is on the consent agenda for the council’s June 4 meeting.

The jury in the case ruled May 14 to grant Fuller $5.25 million.
