City of Apache Junction sets holiday schedule for Veterans Day weekend

The city of Apache Junction will close all administrative offices on Thursday, Nov. 9, in observation of Veterans Day. Emergency services through the police department will not be impacted by the holiday.

The Apache Junction Animal Control Center will be open normal hours Nov. 9-11. The Apache Junction Public Library will have normal hours on Nov. 9 and 10 but will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 11. The Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center will be open normal hours, from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 9-10 and then usual Saturday hours, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Nov. 11.

A reminder that the annual Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. along Apache Trail in Apache Junction, with the Festival of the Superstitions starting at 10 a.m. in Flatiron Park.
