Scottsdale council considering raising utility rates

Scottsdale’s utility rates are likely to go up — again.

The Scottsdale City Council heard proposals from staff to increase water, sewer and solid waste rates during its regularly scheduled meeting March 7, though it is not scheduled to vote on the proposed changes until May 16.

The council members gave no indication on where they stand on the proposed increases, as no one spoke during the presentation.
