Peoria buys 4 acres of land for $1.4M in Old Town

Parcel is at Monroe and Cotton Crossing

The Peoria City Council approved the purchase of 3.93 acres of land near 83rd Avenue and Cotton Crossing for $1.4 million.

The deal is expected to close this month.

Real Estate Development Officer Scott Whyte said the acquisition will allow for the future realignment of 83rd Avenue from Monroe Avenue to Cotton Crossing.
