Scottsdale city budget on target during quarter three

The city of Scottsdale is on solid financial footing.

That was the message city Treasurer Sonia Andrews gave the council during her quarterly budget review on April 18.

“Just like quarter two, sales tax revenue continues to grow but at a slower pace,” Andrews said. “The dining and hotel/motel categories are still leading in our tax collection growth and over all our total general fund sources and uses are within budget.”
