A solar panel shade structure for the parking lot of First Southern Baptist Church is generally supported by the town.
The Paradise Valley Planning Commission reviewed the special use permit amendment Oct. 17 with positive comments made by Chair Karen Liepmann. The commission will take action Nov. 21.
Town Council stated its support in direction to the commission, and directed the commission to hone in on the design of the structure pertaining to material finish, as well as the impact to the surrounding area.
