Christmas shoppers should expect higher prices, less variety

Christmas shoppers can expect to pay more for some products and expect some items to arrive late this holiday season.

The pinch of recent supply chain issues could turn into a crunch as holiday spending ramps up with no remedy on the road ahead.

Supply chains around the world have bottlenecked and “have caused record shortages of many products that American consumers are used to having readily available, from household goods to electronics to automobiles” since the start of the pandemic.
