Christina Lytle Mooney-Compton, 76 years old, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away at home after a valiant battle with cancer on June 13, 2022 in Sun City West, AZ. Christina was born on September 9, 1946 to Harry and Edith Baish in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Abington High School in Abington, PA and furthered her education through studies at Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA as well as Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She spent most of her career as a Legal Secretary however, her passion was art in all forms. She was an advocate and lover of animals, especially her dog, Diego and cat, Romeo. She is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas J. Mooney and her parents. Christina is survived by her two children Thomas Christopher and Monique Marie Mooney and her six grandchildren Mikaela, Aiden, Nolan, Finn Mooney and Brynne and Madeline Menen as well as her siblings Frederick Scott Baish and Barbara Leslie Baish-Deal and her second husband Christopher Compton. She was loved by many and cherished her relationships with family and friends. She will be sorely missed and remembered by all who knew her. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Animal Welfare Association. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to her team of doctors and nurses as well as the staff at Hospice of the Valley.
