The child was taken to a hospital on July 29 and died a day later, police said Sunday.
“There is a death investigation occurring, as with all untimely deaths such as this,” police stated in a release.

A 3-year-old died last week after being found unresponsive after being pulled from a swimming pool at an apartment complex near Scottsdale and McDowell roads, police said.

“There is a death investigation occurring, as with all untimely deaths such as this,” police stated in a release.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. There were no apparent signs of foul play, and no criminal charges are pending, police said.
