Summer at the Musical Instrument Museum continues with July events on tap.
Kick off July by celebrating America’s 250th anniversary from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, and exploring the music of the “March King,” John Philip Sousa, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a curator talk, performance, and orchestrion demonstration of his iconic patriotic melodies like “Stars and Stripes Forever.”
Then, the weekend leading up to Bastille Day, MIM is hosting Experience France on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12 with performances showcasing historical and modern French culture.
