It is with deep sadness that the family of Charlotte Clark announces her peaceful passing on August 10, 2025, at the age of 95. Charlotte lived a long and meaningful life marked by service, strength, and love. A proud member of the Navy Reserve, she embraced adventure early in life, traveling and exploring the world with a fearless spirit. When her father became disabled, Charlotte returned home and cared for both her parents — a true reflection of her selflessness and strong sense of family. As a single mother, Charlotte worked tirelessly to provide a warm and loving home for her daughter. She had an accomplished career at Manpower, Valley National Bank, and The Arizona Bank. She later worked alongside her late husband, Dr. Robert Clark, in his chiropractic practice. Charlotte was especially proud of her work at the Arizona House of Representatives, where she contributed to the inner workings of state legislation. She also served as office manager for the health magazine Vim and Vigor. Charlotte had many passions that brought her joy throughout life — sewing, crocheting, gardening, playing bridge, and watching Judge Judy were among her favorites. She loved animals deeply and always had a loyal dog or cat at her side. A spirited traveler, she enjoyed cruises with her dear friend Bill Owen, and never missed a chance to visit the casinos, where she had a lucky streak — especially on birthdays shared with family. Charlotte is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter Susan, and son-in-law Doug; and her many grandchildren. She was deeply loved and will be forever remembered for her independence, generosity, and tenacity. A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of The Valley, or veterans’ organization.
