Charlie Pride to enter Surprise Recreation Hall of Fame

Late country music legend was part owner of Rangers

Late Grammy-award winning country singer Charley Pride, who was a part-time resident of Surprise in the final years of his life, will be inducted into the Surprise Recreation Campus Hall of Fame.

He was the lone nomination from the Surprise Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission in late January.

He’ll join four others who will be inducted this spring, COVID-19 permitting.
