SUN CITY WEST - Charles E. Lawall, of Sun City West, Arizona died Sunday, December 21, 2014. He was the husband of Lucille (nee Hosey) Lawall. He was born in Allentown, Pa. and grew up in Morgantown, W. Va. He attended W. Va. University and graduated in 1943 with a BS degree in Business Administration. During WWII he served as an officer in the 86th Infantry Division in both the European and Pacific theaters of operation. He worked as a Sales Engineer for Jeffrey Manufacturing Co., as an Executive for Dresser Industries. He retired in 1983. Since his retirement he has been active as a Red Cross volunteer in the Pharmacy at Luke Air Force Base, a volunteer at the NW Valley Chamber of Commerce in Surprise, Arizona and a volunteer at Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital. Charles is survived by his son, Larry (Laura) Lawall of Sun City West, Arizona; two granddaughters, Kristin (Tyler) Steedman and Megan Lawall of Toledo, Ohio; and one great grandson, Liam Steedman. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Desert Palm Presbyterian Church 13459 W. Stardust Blvd Sun City West, Arizona 85375.
