Changes are afoot this week and in the weeks ahead on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project in Chandler and west Gilbert — and the Arizona Department of Transportation says not all the changes involve new restrictions.
The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp to Alma School Road is now open, ADOT stated in a news release. This follows a weeks-long closure for reconstruction as part of the widening project.
ADOT thanks drivers for their patience while this improvement work took place, the release states.
