Authority welcomes familiar face

The Arizona Fire & Medical Authority is making moves.

Rob Biscoe, fire chief, is stepping down into a consultant role later this month.

The AFMA board of directors approved the employment agreement with Mark Burdick, Buckeye Valley Fire District chief, to become the new AFMA chief. He will begin his duties Monday, May 16.
