Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival organizers announced this week that American rock band Kansas will headline the festival on Friday, March 13.
Tickets are now on sale for any day of the festival now at OstrichFestival.com, according to a news release.
The 36th annual event will take place at its new home, Rawhide Western Town and Event Center, over two weekends: March 13-15 and March 20-22.
The multi-platinum American classic rock band released its self-titled debut album in 1974. The band's best-knwon hits are likely "Point of Know Return", "Carry On Wayward Son," Play the Game Tonight" and "Dust in the Wind," which remain staples on classic rock radio.
Kansas has toured across North America, Europe and Japan. Recent releases include the studio album "The Absence of Presence" (2020) and two live albums.
“Landing Kansas is a big moment for us,” said Steve LeVine, CEO of Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations. “They’re iconic, they’re timeless, and they connect across generations, which is exactly the kind of energy we want to bring to this new era at Rawhide.
Festival tickets are on sale now, with early bird pricing starting at $15 for children ages 5 to 12, $25 for adults, and $99 for VIP tickets. Children age 4 and younger receive free entry.
Ticket prices are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Guests are encouraged to review their final purchase summary online and on-site before completing their transaction.
