Chandler's July 4 includes music, pyrotechnics; no fireworks

Chandler’s All-American Bash is Tuesday, July 4, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park Stage Plaza, 178 E. Commonwealth Ave.
The free event features fun for the whole family with live music, yard games, food vendors and more.
Sing along to the high-energy tunes from local band Turn It Up, who will entertain the crowd with the first two 60-minute sets beginning at 7 p.m.
In lieu of fireworks, there will be a five-minute pyrotechnic show as part of the Turn It Up concert. The show will begin at 8:20 p.m.
The first 400 guests who claim a coupon will receive a free cool treat. Enjoy friendly competition with oversized yard games such as Connect 4, checkers and more.
Vendors will offer water, lemonade, hot dogs and other snacks. Come early or stay late and have dinner, drinks or dessert at Downtown Chandler businesses.
Event attendees are allowed to bring food, non-alcoholic drinks, coolers, umbrellas, canopies, blankets and lawn chairs. See chandleraz.gov/4thofJuly for prohibited items, including alcohol and fireworks.
Parking is free and available throughout Downtown Chandler. Accessible parking can be found in all paved lots and parking garages.
