Chandler's Halloween bash brings games, music, 300 pounds of treats to downtown

Costume parades are among the highlights of Chandler's Halloween party on Oct. 27.

Chandler’s annual Halloween party will take place 5:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza in downtown.
Admission is free.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their favorite cute or scary costumes and enjoy these highlights:
Catwalk Costume Parade – All ages can participate, and no registration is required. Souvenirs for all those 12 and younger. The parade will be at 6:15 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.
Trunk-or-Treat– Multiple candy stations with more than 300 pounds of sweet treats. Bring a bag.
Carnival Games –Try the Spooky Prize Wheel, Musical Headstones, Pumpkin Sack Races and Inflatable Axe Throwing.
Halloween Dance Party – A DJ will bring the beats that go bump in the night.
Halloween Spooktacular is presented by the City of Chandler and sponsored by the Chandler Lions Club, WM, KP Elite, Semper Fi Heating and Cooling and Raising Canes.
The park is at 178 E. Commonwealth Ave., and free parking is available on the east side of Arizona Avenue, including the City Hall Parking Garage (Chicago and Washington streets), the Johnathan Parking Garage (Buffalo and Washington streets) or the Alexander Parking Garage (Boston and Washington streets).
