Chandler’s Creative Expression Competition accepting entries

Chandler is accepting visual or written works from students for this year's  Creative Expression Competition, which has the theme “Creating a Community Where Differences are Embraced.”

The Chandler Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division is running the competition for students living in the city or attending a school in Chander. Children from kindergarten through 12th grade can enter, according to a release.

Written essays or visual art entries will be accepted through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1. Submission guidelines and judging criteria are available online at Creative Expression Competition | City of Chandler (chandleraz.gov).

Chandler is accepting visual or written works from students for this year's  Creative Expression Competition, which has the theme “Creating a Community Where Differences are Embraced.”

The Chandler Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division is running the competition for students living in the city or attending a school in Chander. Children from kindergarten through 12th grade can enter, according to a release.

Written essays or visual art entries will be accepted through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1. Submission guidelines and judging criteria are available online at Creative Expression Competition | City of Chandler (chandleraz.gov).

Entries must be submitted in-person at one of the following locations:

  • Chandler City Hall: 175 S. Arizona Ave.
  • Basha Library: 5990 S. Val Vista Drive
  • Downtown Library: 22 S. Delaware St. 
  • Hamilton Library: 3700 S. Arizona Ave. 
  • Sunset Library: 4930 W. Ray Road 

An entry form must accompany each submission. The entry forms will be available at every drop-off location, or may be downloaded online.
