Chandler's AvAir boss named to  ‘CEO of Year’ list

Posted
Mike Bianco, CEO of AvAir, a Chandler-based aviation aftermarket manufacturer, has been named to Airline Economics’ “CEO of the Year” List.
Bianco is ranked No. 5 out of the 10 CEOs on the list. Recipients of the award are nominated via votes cast by clients and colleagues.
Bianco has been named to the list two years in a row and was also one of Airline Economics’ “40 Under 40” recipients in 2020. Bianco was also named the “Parts Supplier of the Year” for the past three years by Airline Economics.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead at AvAir and to work with an incredible team,” said Bianco. “I credit this recognition to them. It’s also humbling to be acknowledged by my peers and join the other esteemed CEOs on this list.”

Bianco began in 2000 with AvAir, working in the warehouse shipping and receiving parts.
He has held many positions, including director of sales, vice president and president.
The company has grown under Bianco’s direction, a release states.
