Chandler USD to hold hearing on tax increase July 27

The governing board will also consider staff pay raises using state funding

The Chandler USD governing board will meet July 27 to hold a hearing and vote on a potential tax increase for residents. 

The district intends to raise its primary property taxes over the current level to pay for increased expenditures iin those  areas where the board has the authority to increase property taxes for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022.

The Chandler Unifieed School District is proposing an increase in its primary property tax levy of $2,500,000.
