Chandler Unified superintendent contract extended

The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board voted to extend Superintendent Frank Narducci’s contract through June 30, 2026.

Narducci will make $250,000 in each of the three years of his new contract, which starts July 1. State law caps superintendent contracts at three years.

At its May 10 meeting, board vice chair Barb Mozdzen motioned to approve the contract. Board member Kurt Rohrs asked Mozdzen if he could amend her motion to make the start date July 1, 2024, keeping Narducci at the $215,000 salary for the next year, but no one seconded his amendment.
