Chandler Unified outperforms state on Auditor General report

CUSD: Classroom, other spending stats show commitment to students

A newly released state report shows what percentage of funds each school district spent on classroom instruction and other services in Fiscal 2023, which ended last June.

A Chandler Unified School District spokesperson said this week that a new report on ratios of types of K-12 education spending in Arizona shows CUSD is making choices that benefit students.

“Classroom spending for CUSD, which includes instruction support and student support, is 72.6% and is 12th best in Arizona out of more than 200 districts,” CUSD spokesperson Stephanie Ingersoll said Wednesday. “This is up from last year when it was 72.1%.”
