Chandler to spend $5.2M on IT infrastructure, consulting

By unanimously approving its consent agenda at its Jan. 11 meeting, the Chandler City Council greenlighted $5.2 million in spending on a contract for technology infrastructure and consulting.

The contract, with The Redesign Group, will cover purchase of new infrastructure, defined in a staff report as, for example, servers, switches and routers, along with consulting services.

Only $25,000 in the contract is for professional services. The rest is for hardware software, licensing and more than $228,000 in tax.
