Chandler to install new downtown ‘wayfinding’ signs

One Chandler official says one of the top tendencies among downtown visitors is to look for parking on the west side of Arizona Avenue.

A $168,000 purchase is aimed at diminishing that tendency, among other goals.

The first phase of implementing results of a 2021 downtown pedestrian and wayfinding study will involve 41 signs, purchased from YESCO LLC, and installed to make navigating downtown easier for residents and visitors, according to a staff report.
