Chandler to host largest school supply distribution event on July 16

The city of Chandler and nonprofit For Our City-Chandler are teaming up once again for the city's annual Operation Back to School—an event to benefit Chandler students in need.

During the event, Chandler students in need in grades K-12 will receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

This year families will drive through one convenient location to collect their free backpacks. In addition to school supplies, Chandler families will receive information on a variety of free community resources and programs. Title I school counselors also will receive donations of shoes, socks and underwear to have on hand for students in need throughout the school year.
