There is always something comforting about revisiting Beethoven’s Fifth.

Join the Chandler Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 17 for a free performance that’s Beethoven and much more.

The 3 p.m. concert begins with Verdi’s robust Overture to La Forza del Destino and special guest pianist Rachid Bernal will perform Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

The free concert is at Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave.

Even though there is no charge for tickets, an RSVP on Eventbrite will help organizers know how many people will be attending.

This concert will also be livestreamed at chandlercenter.org/csolive.

There is one more Chamber Music Series Concert in the 2023-24 season. The musicians choose the music and ensembles for a Sunday, April 14, 3 p.m. show at Risen Savior Lutheran Church Worship Center’s north building, 23620 S. Alma School Road.

The concerts are free to attend thanks to sponsorship by Desert View Family Medicine.

Donations are gratefully received at CSO events or online anytime. If you prefer to mail CSO a check, the address is P.O. Box 6475, Chandler, AZ 85246.

If you have IRA funds available, you may want to have a donation sent directly from your account to CSO. If you wish to do that, contact treasurer Catherine Nowell for our tax ID number which is required for these transactions.

Any amount is welcome and appreciated during this time. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
