Chandler staff to use new language-translation tech

Large cities have been trying to solve communication barriers for centuries.

The city of Chandler’s latest tool in that endeavor isn’t cheap, but has been met with praise from all who’ve spoken publicly about it.

Chandler Equity and Inclusion Officer Niki Tapia told the Chandler City Council about an ILA, or an instant language translation, program with which staff recently completed and assessed a six-month pilot program.
