Chandler spends more than $4.5M to revamp fleet

About 70 police units like this one are among the 93 vehicles approved for purchase Oct. 19 by the Chandler City Council as part of a contract for more than $4.5 million.

The average price of the 93 vehicles approved for purchase Oct. 19 by the Chandler City Council is less than $49,000.

The $4.55 million contract includes about 70 police units, along with dozens of other types of cars for various city departments.
