Chandler Schools unveils new suicide-prevention clinic

A tearful Brenda Vargas was embraced by many of her peers at the grand opening of a new facility.

Though Vargas is no longer with the Chandler Unified School District, she helped make the Hope Institute happen.

So did several other CUSD leaders and others, many of whom were at the Wednesday, Aug. 30, grand opening of the suicide prevention clinic.
