A $16 million purchasing plan for the Chandler Unified School District includes the largest piece of mobile classroom instructional aid one could imagine.
At a recent district governing board meeting, Technology Services Director Collen Flannery mentioned there are six total phases in getting interactive flat panel displays into hundreds of Chandler classrooms.
It wasn’t specified exactly how many of the 75-inch wheeled displays the district will purchase overall across six phases. In April, the board approved a contract for the first phase, which was a $1.6 million contract with CCS Presentation Systems of Mesa for more than 200 units.
