After complaints were voiced at multiple Chandler Unified School District Governing Board meetings about an elementary school math program, CUSD issued a brief statement on the subject.
Two parents spoke during public input at the Aug. 9 meeting about My Math, with one parent returning to reiterate her concerns at the Aug. 23 meeting and to pass along feedback from her peers.
In response, CUSD said it followed a typical decision-making process to replace the program that had been in place, Saxon Math, using the information it had at the time.
