One presentation given at the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board’s August work session technically had the word “board” in its title, though the data in it was really about students.
Board metrics is a general term for a large set of CUSD student achievement, performance and participation numbers tracked by administrators. Dr. Jennifer Fletcher’s presentation showed CUSD has made progress in some categories, but is still having trouble getting students to hit goals in other areas.
Fletcher, the district’s executive director of accountability, assessment and research, made similar presentations in both May and June. The August report was partly to outline goals for the 2024-25 school year.
