Chandler Schools approves two contracts for supplies

After a brief discussion, the Chandler Unified School District Governing Board gave unanimous approval to a pair of contracts at its Aug. 7 meeting.

The board approved an estimated $600,000 contract with Hillyard for janitorial supplies and services through Sept. 1 and an estimated $400,000 contract with Wist for office and school supplies to be ordered throughout the 2024-25 school year.

CUSD’s chief financial officer, Lana Berry, explained a school district in Mohave is the cooperative purchasing agent for the janitorial contract with Hillyard.
