Chandler school leaders continue to snipe over finances

President tells fellow board member to ‘get a life’

It’s not often a Chandler Unified School District Governing Board member has told a colleague to “get a life” during an open meeting.

That’s the approach Jason Olive took during his closing remarks at Wednesday’s regular board meeting.

Olive, the board president, took issue with several of board member Kurt Rohrs’ statements regarding finances in recent months, especially regarding both reserve funds and procedural decision-making steps surrounding the rebuild of Galveston Elementary School.
